#StayHomeAndWatchOut – Summary of the ornitho-wide results

In spring we drew attention to the international campaign #StayHomeAndWatchOut. Due to the spread of the "corona virus" many people were tied to their own four walls during the lockdown - be it through childcare, home office or even quarantine. In some European countries there was even a strict curfew at that time. Those who pursued their beloved hobby from home during this time and made observations from the window or balcony or in their own garden could assign them to this project using a special abbreviation.

Many ornithologists all over Europe have followed this call. Our Catalan colleagues from ornitho.cat have now further processed the data collected between mid-March and mid-May. We do not want to withhold the attractively presented results from you. With the help of the arrows you can look at different visualisations of cross-portal evaluations.

Once again, many thanks to all users of ornitho.de and ornitho.lu who took part in the campaign - and let's hope (and all contribute) that we won't have to reactivate #StayHomeAndWatchOut!
